Separate arrival from approval
An item reaching a warehouse is not the same as an item ready to ship. Keep a simple record for each item: source checked, option confirmed, warehouse evidence reviewed and parcel decision pending. This prevents a stored item from being included simply because it is visible in an account.
Review identity first: selected colour, size, quantity and visible labels. Then note one unresolved question, if there is one. This turns storage into useful review time rather than a place where uncertain items accumulate.
Use measured parcel data when it appears
Early product weights are planning clues, not final parcel measurements. A package, protective material and the combination of items can all affect the dimensions used by a shipping line. Replace estimates with the latest visible warehouse data whenever the live account provides it.
Keep the item list and the measurement date together. If a parcel is changed, save the new figures rather than assuming an earlier estimate still describes the shipment.
Treat rehearsal and packing choices as comparisons
If a live account offers rehearsal, packing or packaging options, read the current description before selecting one. The value of a packing choice depends on the actual item shape, fragility, destination and line rules—not on a generic claim that it always saves money or guarantees protection.
Compare the same parcel before and after any change. A useful note records what changed, what data was shown and which decision is still open. Do not present an account option as universally available or suitable for every route.
Keep route restrictions in the parcel decision
Items that can be ordered separately may not fit the same shipping line. Goods type, batteries, liquids, magnets, packaging and destination requirements can affect route eligibility. Check the specific parcel and route shown in the live account rather than relying on a category label alone.
If one item creates an unresolved restriction, pause it or separate it from the parcel while you obtain current guidance. A smaller compliant parcel is often a clearer decision than a mixed parcel built on assumptions.
Save the final parcel record
Before submitting international shipping, keep the selected item list, visible measurements, packing choice, route, address confirmation and displayed terms in one place. This record makes it easier to explain a question to official support and to compare a later change.
Warehouse guidance can improve preparation, but it cannot decide a live order, route or claim. Use the actual account screen for the final decision and keep the guide's role limited to organising better evidence.
